Custom Website Development,
Built to Perform.

Echozat had a sharp product vision and a founder-marketer audience with zero patience for slow or bloated web experiences. We built their website from scratch — and launched with a perfect score on Performance and SEO.

What Echozat Needed

A multi-product tools platform with a clear vision — and no website to show for it. First Launch was brought in to change that, fast.

Echozat builds focused, no-bloat tools for founders and marketers — WordPress plugins, Shopify apps, Chrome extensions, and Google Apps Script utilities. The product philosophy was sharp. The web presence was non-existent.

Going from zero to a live website is rarely a content problem. It is a decisions problem. What should the homepage say? How do you present four different micro-products without making the site feel like a link directory? How do you write for an audience that will read one sentence and bounce if something feels off? We answered all of it — and shipped in three weeks.

02 — Challenge

The brief was simple. The constraints weren't.

Building a website for a multi-product platform isn't just a design problem. It is an information architecture problem, a brand positioning problem, and a technical foundations problem — all at once.

01
Starting from Absolute Zero
No prior site, no existing brand assets online, no conversion data to learn from. Every decision — architecture, visual system, content hierarchy — was net-new. There was no baseline to iterate from.
02
Four Products, One Coherent Story
WordPress plugins, Shopify apps, Chrome extensions, and Google Apps Script tools — each with its own audience and value prop. The site needed to present this breadth without feeling like a link directory or a category dump.
03
A Reader Who Won't Wait
Echozat's target audience are founders and power-marketers. They scan. They're allergic to bloat. Get the messaging wrong by one sentence and they're gone. The copy had to be precise, outcome-first, and earn every word.
03 — Approach

Strategy before design

We don't start with layouts. We start with the audience's decision path — who lands here, what they need to know first, what makes them click. That thinking drove every structural choice that followed.

01
Content Architecture First
Mapped the founder-marketer decision path before drawing a single layout. Defined what belongs on the homepage versus what belongs on a product page — then built the URL structure and IA around that logic.
02
Custom Design System
No pre-built theme. Built a visual system from scratch: dark-first identity, green accent, tight typographic scale. Every page feels like it belongs to the same product family — because it was designed that way from the start.
03
Multi-Product Architecture
Homepage as discovery layer. Each product gets a standalone landing page with its own messaging hierarchy, feature breakdown, and conversion goal. Nothing shared that dilutes the individual product's story.
04
Performance & SEO from Day One
Speed baked into the architecture stage, not the QA stage. Asset strategy, font loading, and script handling were decided upfront. Semantic HTML5, JSON-LD, canonical structure, and Core Web Vitals readiness — all live at launch.

We reply within one business day.
Get in touch
  • For focused zero-to-launch builds like Echozat, we typically go from brief to go-live in 2–3 weeks. Larger sites with more pages, integrations, or content-heavy architectures may take 4–6 weeks. Speed never comes at the cost of quality, SEO foundations, or performance.
  • We build fully custom WordPress themes — clean PHP, semantic HTML, modular components. No page builders. This keeps load times fast, Core Web Vitals healthy, and the codebase maintainable without a developer on retainer for every update.
  • By treating performance and SEO as first-class requirements, not post-launch checkboxes. Asset strategy, font loading, and script handling were decided at the architecture stage. Semantic HTML5, JSON-LD structured data, canonical tags, and optimised meta architecture were all live from day one — not bolted on after.
  • The answer is information architecture before design. We map the audience's decision path first — what they need to know on the homepage versus what belongs on a product page. The homepage becomes a discovery layer; each product gets a dedicated landing page with its own messaging hierarchy and conversion goal. Nothing shared that dilutes the individual story.
  • Yes — we build for maintainability. The WordPress admin is intuitive, the codebase is modular and well-structured, and we provide handover documentation. You won't need a developer on call to publish a post or update a product page.
  • Frequently. Zero-to-launch builds for growth-stage digital products — tools platforms, SaaS products, plugin ecosystems — are work we enjoy and are well-suited for. We understand how to communicate complex product ecosystems clearly and build sites that support long-term organic acquisition from the very first day.
